The national stand “Furniture of Ukraine” at the IMM Cologne exhibition in Germany, which took place from June 4th to June 7th, was represented by 20 furniture manufacturers from Ukraine, including brands such as Furniture factory “MIRT”, Mriya kitchen, Pavlyk, Shik, TENTONI, WOODSUN, Azzare, Yareks, ARTBUZ, BONART, Bonsso, Carpentry company PIK, Comfort mebli, Doros, Dubyk-M, FORTO, Furniture factory “Konstanta”, GOODWOOD, KYIV STANDART and Monredo.

 

The “Furniture of Ukraine” stand gained recognition among visitors and experts for its quality and aesthetic design. The exhibition served as a platform to promote Ukrainian furniture manufacturing and expand its presence in the international market.

 

The visitors to the exhibition included representatives of furniture supermarkets, distributors, and wholesalers who were interested in establishing partnerships with Ukrainian furniture manufacturers for the supply of their products to their markets. The visitors of the “Furniture of Ukraine” stand represented a diverse audience from around the world, including Germany, Romania, France, Morocco, Israel, Albania, Spain, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Denmark, and more.

 

The joint exhibition at IMM Cologne 2023 was organized by the team of Furniture of Ukraine Business Expo from the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers. During the visit to the stand, General Consul of Ukraine in Dusseldorf, Irina Shum, remarked: “Such events are extremely important for Ukraine as they demonstrate the resilience and determination of Ukrainian businesses. You (referring to the furniture manufacturers) inspire us to move forward.“

The organization of the national stand in Cologne was made possible through the active support and collaboration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Exporters of Nazovni, the State Enterprise “Office of Entrepreneurship and Export Development in Ukraine,” the Embassy of Ukraine in Germany, as well as the Regional Military Administrations of Rivne, Kyiv, and Lviv. The negotiation area was supported by Kleiberit Ukraine and Hafele. The stand was organized with the support of the USAID Economic Development, Governance, and Enterprise Growth (EDGE).
