On June 23, the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers (UAFM) held a webinar dedicated to Safety Data Sheets (SDS), new chemical safety requirements, and preparing businesses for the implementation of the UA-CLP and UA-REACH regulations.

▪️ changes in working with Safety Data Sheets (SDS);
▪️ the documentation that should be obtained from suppliers of paints, varnishes, adhesives, coatings, and other chemical products;
▪️ potential risks associated with non-compliance with the new requirements;
▪️ practical steps businesses should start taking today;
▪️ the latest developments of the working group under the Ministry of Economy aimed at improving chemical safety and chemical product management legislation.

The webinar was delivered by Nataliia Bartnytska, consultant to the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers, expert in chemical safety, technical regulation, and international distribution, with more than 25 years of experience at international companies Clariant AG and Schneider Group. She is also a member of the UAFM working group under the Ministry of Economy.
