– The recent Polish international construction exhibition for the company “Budzirka<\/a>“, which supplies the Ukrainian market with a wide range of construction materials, is already the fourth during the war, in which the company took a direct part – as an exhibitor – <\/em>said the director of the company Svyatoslav Shilin. – The first was last year’s “Meble Polska” exhibition, in which we participated together with the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers as part of the “Furniture of Ukraine” national stand and realized that the Polish market, even under the current circumstances, retains a large import potential and has a significant interest in almost every product of our assortment. That is why they took part in other Polish exhibitions last year – the exhibition of furniture components “Furnica” and the design exhibition “Warsaw Home”, as well as in another German exhibition – also together with the association.<\/em><\/p>\nEven at last year’s Meble Polska exhibition, it became obvious that the best export opportunities on the European market will be with Ukrainian companies that will have their representative offices, say, in same Poland, in order to be closer and more convenient for foreign customers. Therefore, without delay, immediately after returning from the exhibition, register the subsidiary company “Budzirka Polska”. We already have both the office of this company and the warehouse of our products in Warsaw. And already at this year’s “Budma” exhibition, our construction products were presented by “Budzirka Polska”.<\/em><\/p>\n – Already knowing well which Polish exhibitions are interesting for you – both in the logistical and organizational sense – aren’t you getting ready for this year’s “Meble Polska” in the same place, in Pozna\u0144?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n – This time – no, let’s take a break: the time interval between these two exhibitions is too short to be able to properly prepare for the furniture exhibition as well. For the time being, we will work with those potential clients contacted at the construction exhibition, so that preliminary acquaintances turn into concrete business partner-client relations. And we will take part as guests in the Polish one in February, we will study trends emerging in the European market, and new trends in furniture fashion.<\/em><\/p>\n Such a well-known company in our furniture industry as “MIRT<\/a>” took part in the “Budma” exhibition, which demonstrated not only its door products but also furniture, as its manager Oleksandr Yushchenko told:<\/p>\n Participation in this construction exhibition was a test for us. It was recommended to us not only as one of the largest in Poland but also as a powerful exhibition of an international scale, which is also visited by many foreign visitors. We quickly prepared to participate in it: we rented a modest exhibition space, on which we placed a few exhibits: in particular, a large entrance door, several models of interior doors, a presentation model of a window and several samples of furniture. Among them were both pre-war models and new ones created by the company despite the unfavourable circumstances caused by the war.<\/em><\/p>\n – Was this first trial participation in the construction exhibition useful for the company?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n – It was the first since the beginning of the war. The attendance at the stand was so intense that I did not manage to find time to visit other Ukrainian exhibitors. Of course, most of the guests at our stand were Poles, but thirty percent were representatives of other countries, which made us happy. Many contacts have been collected, a dozen of which have a real prospect of turning into concrete contracts.<\/em><\/p>\n – Perhaps, such effectiveness motivated you to participate in the next exhibition in Pozna\u0144?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n – Not without that. And in general, the “Budma” exhibition was not the only one in which it was planned to participate this year. At the next one – “Meble Polska”, the products of our trademark will be presented already in the format of the collective national stand “Furniture of Ukraine”. The content of the exhibition will be the same: furniture and doors, but already serial models, most of which are new.<\/em><\/p>\n In particular, she said that this year, too, she wanted to attract to the “Meble Polska” exhibition as many newcomer companies in foreign economic activity as possible, which set themselves the goal of becoming export-oriented and for which the first real participation in the international exhibition will be an important practical step to achieve it. Therefore, the efforts of UAFM theoretically prepared the leaders and managers of such companies for such a step and tried to make a demonstration of their capabilities in serial furniture at this year’s collective national online stand “Furniture of Ukraine” on preferential terms for them. Kronospan UA<\/a>, Kleiberit-Ukraine<\/a> and H\u00e4fele Ukraine<\/a> became the sponsors of the partial financing of such a UAFM action, which are really concerned about the development of the Ukrainian furniture industry, seeing it as a good perspective for themselves.<\/p>\n Preparations for the exhibition, which will be held on the 20th of February, are actually coming to an end – the participants who have finally decided to participate in it are already packing trucks with exhibits to be sent to Pozna\u0144. Thus, the backbone of the collective stand has already been formed from 24 companies. And yet, for those who are considering this step, there is still an opportunity, according to Ms Oksana, to increase the number of Ukrainian exhibitors<\/a>.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/uafm.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/vystavka_1-1024x1024.jpeg\")

– Why we decided to participate in this international exhibition is clear: in order to find new foreign customers, since the number of orders in Ukraine during the war period has significantly decreased. It became complicated due to logistical problems (in particular, due to the increase in the cost of transportation almost four times) and the export of products to Central Asia and the Persian Gulf markets, where we were actively present before the war. In this sense, it is easier with the countries of the European Union, which is why they took part in this international European exhibition. Especially since “MIRT<\/a>” specializes not only in furniture products but also in the doors products.<\/em><\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/uafm.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/5-1024x1024.png\")

Since “Budma” is a construction exhibition, that is, not purely furniture-oriented, and it was assumed that a small number of furniture companies would show a desire to participate in it, therefore the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers did not organize the traditional collective national stand of Ukrainian furniture makers “Furniture of Ukraine”, but rather to participate in the next one – “Meble Polska” – which will be held already this month, is really organizing, as the member of the board of UAFM, director of the “Furniture of Ukraine” exhibition Oksana Donska, who directly takes care of it, told.<\/p>\n
