The service and production activities of the “ViYar<\/a>” company, suspended by the war, resumed quite quickly. Units in the central and western regions of the country did it faster, Kharkiv in the summer. Already by May, the entire volume of pre-war orders was fulfilled – and there were thousands of them at the beginning of the year. Even those orders for which there was no certainty that customers would pick them up were completely closed.<\/p>\n

From the words of Maksym Latko, who spoke about it, it can be concluded that by the beginning of last summer “ViYar<\/a>” practically stabilized its work: all operating branches have already worked and continue to work on newly accepted customer orders, which, of course, are less than they could be, if not for the war, but they convincingly testify that Ukrainian furniture makers did not find it difficult to successfully conduct business, often unfavourable for full-scale production, to the circumstances of the martial law. Moreover, “ViYar”, which was tragic for the country and extremely difficult for the economy last year, even took several important steps in its development, implementing pre-war efforts: it managed to open several new regional branches – for example, in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil – to implement a number of planned even before war of innovations to provide more and better services to Ukrainian furniture makers. We asked Maxim to tell us more about them.<\/p>\n

– For example, we introduced the use of a new for our furniture industry system of hidden connection of furniture parts at different angles from the Swiss company “Lamello”, whose Ukrainian representative is “ViYar<\/a>“. It allows furniture makers to realize more interesting and bold design and design ideas. By the way, one of these mechanisms – Clamex P – was awarded the Interzum Award as an innovative connection element.<\/em><\/p>\n

And we also created an opportunity for customers to order board (MDF) materials of the most popular decors in the so-called “pure size”, i.e. in square meters, which turns out to be more economical for them due to the minimized waste in the production of furniture parts and accessories.<\/em><\/p>\n

I will also talk about such a new service and production direction as the manufacture of various types and purposes of metal structures, in particular, for the needs of the furniture industry – rack structures, furniture supports, consoles, frames for chairs, bed frames, underlays for tables, various elements for use in furniture in the “loft” style, etc. Needless to say, the production of metal structures is subordinated to our Viaria philosophy “Quality Above All”.<\/em><\/p>\n

– And what lies ahead in terms of innovations, what will you offer to customers in the near future?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

– An even greater number of high-quality services that will simplify and improve furniture makers’ processes of their furniture production, as well as make partnership relations with “ViYar<\/a>” as a contractor even more convenient for them. For this purpose, the company’s production facilities are actively automated, technological operations are digitized, and office processes are optimized.<\/em><\/p>\n

– Did the war make any adjustments to customer requests?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

– Cardinals were not included. Unless there is a tendency to use cheaper materials in furniture production. But it did not become dominant, because furniture is not a product for the production of which you can save as much as possible on everything.<\/em><\/p>\n

To what Maxim said, it should be added that the concept of “the company has stabilized its activity” also includes the fact that it has restored its information and educational function. The ViYar Academy is known to the numerous clientele of the company – a project designed to familiarize customers with the range of services and products, with their novelties, to talk about the trends in the furniture industry and how with the help of the materials available in the company and the services offered by it, it is possible to solve tasks of any complexity in the furniture industry, thereby helping to develop the furniture business in Ukraine in general.<\/p>\n

Just like before the war, the branded Internet application “Viyar Bazar” offers its services, which help furniture makers and their potential customers find each other for mutual benefit. There is also a notice board, where applications for the manufacture of furniture are published, and here is a list of furniture companies ready to undertake it.<\/p>\n

The practice of arranging familiarization tours for both current and potential customers, as well as own employees from regional offices with visits to the best production units of the company in order to demonstrate its advanced achievements, the scale and multi-vector nature of its activities, and the prospects of its opportunities, has resumed.<\/p>\n

But mass corporate gatherings of the company’s employees on the occasion of various holidays, sports competitions between regional branches and cultural recreation events, which were widely practised in the company in better times, have not yet returned from the peaceful past, remaining taboo during the war.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
