The company “Mebli Karpat<\/a>” has been on the market in Ukraine for more than 20 years, and its products are represented in practically all regions. It also sells its products outside the country, having established exports to Germany, Austria, and Moldova. There are agreements and plans for cooperation with England and the USA.<\/p>\n

The company has come a long way from a small workshop to a recognized brand. It offers only quality products made of natural wood: oak and beech. Only ecological and certified raw materials are used. All products are manufactured using modern equipment and the latest technologies. The company’s production facilities, which employ over 100 specialists, are located in Lviv. This makes it possible to develop and constantly update the range, to be in trend with furniture fashion trends.<\/p>\n

Knowing all this about the company “Mebli Karpat<\/a>“, we were not too surprised by the optimistic mood of the company’s owner, Volodymyr Bugayenko, who assured us that things were going well in the company. We asked Mr Volodymyr to voice at least the most important aspect of what makes the company successful.<\/p>\n

– Want to try and guess? It is no secret that in the conditions of war and, consequently, a disrupted domestic market, Ukrainian furniture manufacturers began to look for opportunities to develop in foreign markets with doubled energy. To do this, they intensified their exhibition activities, aiming to participate in popular specialized exhibitions. And what can we say about “Mebli Karpat<\/a>” – their products have long been sold there…<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

– The path is really not straightforward, and we went through it last year, but participation in the Poznan exhibition did not give the desired results: it became clear that in the current conditions, promoting our products in the European market through intermediaries would not work. With our rather high price tag, we will have to work at a loss. We need a different approach. And it consists of having our own trading representations in European countries, where our furniture will be sold without intermediaries. Such representations already exist. For example, in Moldova. In just a few days, the “Mebli Karpat<\/a>” store will be opening in Italy.<\/em>\u00a0Additionally, we plan to open our stores in the Czech Republic and Poland this year.<\/em><\/p>\n

– Do you prepare product innovations for the opening of each subsequent foreign representative office?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

– There is no special need for this, as the updating of the product assortment in the company is an ongoing process.<\/em><\/p>\n

– We saw your advertisement for hiring carpenters and general workers. Is there a “staff shortage” evident? Is everything good in the company?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

– There is no “staff shortage” in the company since we traditionally offer high salaries, so we have never experienced a shortage of professional staff. By the way, production is actively being automated, and the human factor is not crucial in some areas. However, of course, a reserve of personnel is always needed. After all, now is a period when the outflow of employees depends on the circumstances in the country. Despite all the difficulties caused by the war, the production of the “Mebli Karpat<\/a>” factory is expanding. Accordingly, we are replenishing our staff. We invite both qualified carpenters and workers without furniture-making skills, whom we train, preparing those specialists who are already needed or will be needed in the future.<\/em><\/p>\n

– And what about the plans that were scheduled for last year? Did the war prevent them from being implemented?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

– Let’s say, we planned to increase the planned volume of chair production. We planned to overcome the threshold of five thousand products per month in 2022. Unfortunately, the reality is that we will not be able to achieve this goal this year. But the trend of expanding the entire product range is still present. We have already received orders for two months of work.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\t\t
