1. The European Commission announced two grant proposals to support Ukrainian entrepreneurs. The initiatives have a common name ReadyForEU and a total budget of 7.5 million euros. The business support consortium will select up to 1,500 Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises focused on growth and sustainable development, receiving direct support of up to 2,500 euros.<\/p>\n
2. Next year, Ukraine will take the first step within the framework of the Multilateral Agreement on the Automatic Exchange of Information on Financial Accounts. The Agreement does not apply to accounts with less than $250,000 as of December 31 of the calendar year that falls during martial law in Ukraine.<\/p>\n
3. Danylo Hetmantsev, the country’s “Chief Taxman”, proposes to return inspections at customs, which have been suspended since the beginning of the war, from July 1. That is, to restore the authority of customs authorities to carry out documentary checks (counter-checks).
