Kronospan UA <\/strong><\/a>is one of the most powerful members of our Association.
Its production and social activities, as well as the internal life of the team, are so dynamic that hardly a week goes by without a significant event. To illustrate this, we will share a few examples of what the company in Novovolynsk was engaged in during two summer months of this year.<\/p>\nThe Ukrainian branch of Kronospan, a global industrial giant in wood-based panel production, has become a role model for domestic entrepreneurs in terms of efficient management and the implementation of advanced production and managerial practices. That\u2019s why the company often hosts guests and generously shares its experience. Representatives of both central and regional authorities regularly visit the site as well.<\/p>\n
The Kronospan UA team is also highly mobile, frequently visiting its regional dealers and presenting new products to their clients.<\/p>\n
In July 2025, it became known that the industrial park Kronospan Rivne <\/strong>would be one of the first to receive UAH 55.3 million for the development of its energy infrastructure. These state funds will be allocated for the construction of additional energy capacity for the industrial park, as the company plans to make it the heart of the largest furniture cluster in Eastern Europe.
Overall, Kronospan is a key investor in the woodworking and furniture industries. Over nearly six years of operation in the Rivne region, the company has invested more than \u20ac560 million into production and created 400 jobs.<\/p>\nA socially important event also took place in the summer of 2025. In mid-June, with the support of Kronospan UA, new departments of the local hospital were opened in Novovolynsk to create modern conditions for the treatment and rehabilitation of residents, veterans, and those affected by the war.
“We have been significantly supporting the Novovolynsk City Hospital for several years now \u2014 and we will continue to do so. The key role lies in the synergy of efforts between medical staff, authorities at all levels, and socially responsible businesses,” said Nataliia Pokinska<\/strong>, General Director of Kronospan UA, during the opening ceremony.<\/p>\nAt the end of June, the company’s production facilities in Novovolynsk were visited by Ivan Rudnytskyi, Head of the Volyn Regional State Administration. Last year, the company\u2019s two divisions paid nearly UAH 700 million in taxes and duties.<\/p>\n
The meeting also addressed a number of pressing issues that concern local wood-based panel producers. These include: ensuring a sufficient supply of raw materials for processing, the need for effective market regulation through the adoption of the draft law “On the Timber Market,” a shortage of drivers, low throughput capacity at border checkpoints, and high energy prices.<\/p>\n
In closing, the final word goes again to Nataliia Pokinska<\/strong>, who shared the following with the online publication BUDNI<\/em> about running a business under martial law:<\/p>\n\u201cWe had to build new logistics chains both in Ukraine and abroad, adapt to employee mobilization, and restructure raw material procurement in line with the realities of the forestry sector. But we have always fulfilled our commitments to clients \u2014 because the functioning of the entire industry depends on it.<\/em><\/p>\nThe labor market today is in a state of turbulence. But this gave us a push to more actively train and develop key specialists ourselves. We are relaunching English courses that were suspended at the beginning of the war.<\/em><\/p>\nWe also have our own training center \u2014 Kronovision \u2014 in Slovakia, which offers a wide range of offline and online trainings for professional and personal development, and we encourage our employees to participate. In my opinion, this is currently the best way to build a qualified team.<\/em><\/p>\nMoreover, we are strengthening our cooperation with universities: we invite students for internships, observe them, and offer jobs to the best ones.<\/em><\/p>\nAmong our long-term goals is the development of the Ukrainian woodworking sector as one of the leading clusters for the production of furniture and building materials in Ukraine.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n\n\t\t
