\n1. Millennials (that is, young people of the so-called \u201cgeneration Y\u201d, born after 1983) began to use living space in a different way, which affects the interior design. This reorientation should also be taken into account by furniture manufacturers when determining production priorities. \nIt turned out that more than half of the respondents spend most of their time in the living room, endowing it with at least 25 functions. \nInterestingly, every fifth of the respondents uses the living room as a study. This leads to the popularity of functional and at the same time stylish furniture: for example, comfortable leather chairs or high tables. Also in great demand began to use modular furniture.
\nAs for the decor, the millenials are no longer ashamed of bright colors and interesting textures. They like natural materials – copper, bronze, marble. And for the role of a neutral color, instead of gray, they \u201cassigned\u201d pink.<\/p>\n

3. The State Fiscal Service has published data on the growth of last year’s profitability in certain sectors of the economy. 4. In Ukraine, they want to radically rewrite customs rules, allowing selected companies to avoid routine and labor-intensive customs procedures. \nThe document was developed as part of the process of association of Ukraine with the European Union, which implies a rapprochement of the domestic customs legislation of the two parties. One of the stages of this project is the introduction of an institute of an authorized economic operator (AEO), which also functions in the EU. The essence of the innovation is that manufacturing enterprises that carry out export-import operations are allowed to follow the simplified procedure of both the cargo clearance procedure and its customs clearance. \u201cIn fact, the control will be conducted very selectively, only to confirm the status. In fact, it will be just fixing the border crossing and nothing else. A company that, for example, sends goods from Ukraine, puts a seal on a car or a container, is not unloaded every time, \u201dSvetlana Mikhailovskaya, Deputy Director of the European Business Association, commented on the essence of the idea.
\nThe status of an authorized economic operator, however, will not be obtained by all exporters \/ importers, but only by those who deserve this right for their reliability. The bill proposes to establish the criteria according to which it will determine who you can believe and with whom it is better to be on your guard. The criteria themselves will be further refined by the second reading of the bill.<\/p>\n
5. In Ukraine, they can rewrite the value-added tax rate, halving it to 10% instead of the base 20%. Benefits, however, will not apply to everyone, but only to \u201caccommodation facilities\u201d – hotels, campgrounds, hostels, and the like. Such initiatives include bill number 10222, filed by a group of deputies. If this initiative becomes law, it will probably be a pleasant surprise for those furniture makers working in the HoReCa segment.
\nThe initiators of the bill do not hide the fact that they were inspired by the results of their European colleagues, because special taxation conditions in Europe are valid everywhere. And in some countries the discount in relation to the basic conditions sometimes reaches four times the size. For example, the authors write in the explanatory note, in Portugal, at the base rate of 23%, the hotel business pays only 6%.<\/p>\n
