This spring, members of the UAFM Board met at the exhibition in Poznan with its director Joseph Cones and negotiated the placement of the joint stand of the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers #<\/span>FUrniTUREofUkraine<\/span><\/span><\/a> next year, as well as the allocation of a zone in the design arena for Ukrainian designers.
\nWe owe this meeting to Raimundas Pe\u010diulis<\/a>, our consultant for European markets.
\nAfter that, at the Kiev International Furniture Summit, the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers represented by Volodymyr Patis<\/a> and the National Economic Chamber of Furniture Manufacturers represented by Slavomir Lukashevsky signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
\nThe associations agreed to cooperate with the aim of establishing partnerships and mutually beneficial relations.
\nCooperation within the framework of this partnership includes the following areas:
\n– B2B meetings with the aim of entering new markets;
\n– Exchange of experience and partnerships;
\n– New distribution channels for furniture.
\nAnd now an article has been published in the magazine BIZNES meble.pl<\/a>, in which Vladimir Patis spoke about the similarities of Poland and Ukraine, about openness, willingness to cooperate and about the benefits of cooperation. He also shared the history of the Association and spoke about plans for the future.<\/p>\n
