In the context of combating insufficient collection of revenues to the state budget, the Ministry of Digital Transformation this year plans to improve electronic interaction with customs to track goods after crossing the border. Such plans were shared by Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Fedorov.<\/span><\/p>\n Last but not least, this is due to the fact that the International Monetary Fund insists on continuing the reform of tax and customs services by including this item in the Memorandum when designating a new credit program for Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n And the head of the Executive Committee for Reforms, Mikheil Saakashvili, believes that the main problem of customs is the availability of various related services, which should be abandoned.<\/span><\/p>\n 2. During inspections, the State Food and Consumer Service found that every fourth facility violates anti-epidemic regulations. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Health, Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko.<\/span><\/p>\n During the previous week, the State Food and Consumer Service conducted 37,000 inspections. This indicates that 9,122 farms have become potential sources of possible spread of coronavirus disease. We hope that there are no furniture companies, members of UAFM, among them.<\/span><\/p>\n 3. Quarantine and the crisis have revealed business weaknesses. In a state of stress, limitations and remote work, the productivity of most employees has fallen, and the efficiency of many enterprises has decreased. Surveys show that the state of fear, depression, uncertainty and anxiety affect the results of work, reducing its productivity. But psychological support programs for employees have been launched so far in only a few leading Ukrainian companies, although the problem is relevant to many. Hope that everything will pass by itself is no longer an option, said Oksana Leshchenko, a psychotherapist, co-founder of the Studio of Corporate Psychology “4ID” and the Center for Psychology and Transformation “Self”.<\/span><\/p>\n According to the WHO, in the next 10 years, psychological disorders will be the main cause of disability, and in Ukraine, they may lead to a reduction in the number of qualified personnel by 30%.<\/span><\/p>\n 4. Bosnian designer Natasha Perkovic presented furniture from palm oil by-products.<\/span><\/p>\n The oil is obtained from the seeds of the palm, which has a shell of fibrous pulp. After squeezing the oil, this pulp is either burned or used to fertilize the soil.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span>The designer found the best use for this waste, creating a composite ecological material. “Due to its natural component, the new material must age more elegantly than ordinary plastics, and it is safer for the environment,” says Natasha.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n All items in her collection made of this material have a monolithic structure to facilitate proper disposal at the end of their service life.<\/span><\/p>\n 5. In our eyes, the trend of sustainability (“sustainable development”) is gaining global scale. More and more companies perceive it as the main principle of their activity. The fragile and vulnerable world of wildlife needs our care, protection, self-care.<\/span><\/p>\n After many years of research and experimentation, the Italian company ARPA has introduced into the production of plastic decors, which are well known to Ukrainian furniture, the technology of using polymer waste containing lignin. As a result, the use of phenols was reduced by 50% in the manufacture of FENIX NTM Bloom panels. ARPA twice solves the problem of ecology: it uses pulp waste and produces an environmentally friendly product while maintaining all its best properties and characteristics.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n\n\t\t
