Everything that happened last week in Ukraine and the world and that is relevant to the furniture maker, read in our digest:<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is introducing new formats of cooperation with national business associations to support Ukrainian exporters. This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister Dmytro Senyk.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is open for the implementation of joint projects with national business associations in order to achieve qualitatively new results in support of Ukrainian entrepreneurs – an increase in the number of contracts and exports.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. There are three directions in the system of tax legislation that needs to be really reformed, systematically changed, said Danylo Hetmantsev, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Tax and Customs Policy. This is the taxation of income of individuals and legal entities. We need to bring the object, ie income, closer to the difference between expenses and income, expand the application of the tax rebate, expand the institution of declaration and partially introduce a tax on withdrawn capital.<\/span><\/p>\n

The second direction is the reform of rent and environmental tax. Third – local taxes. If everything is more or less normal with land taxes, then with real estate taxes we now have the Middle Ages.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

3 . The State Tax Service of our country has created its territorial bodies as separate, separate structures. Such reformatting of the State Tax Service is carried out at the request of the Memorandum on Economic and Financial Policy with the International Monetary Fund. That is, after such innovations, the State Tax Service will remain the only legal entity within which its territorial bodies will appear. Territorial bodies of the state tax service will not have the status of a separate legal entity. “Such changes will help strengthen the institutional capacity of the State Tax Service, avoid duplication of functions, ensure openness and transparency of the Service, minimize corruption and improve the provision of services to taxpayers,” – said the head office of the State Tax Service. It is planned that by the end of the year, the State Tax Service should be finalized as a single legal entity.<\/span><\/p>\n

4. <\/span>On the streets of Russian Kostroma there are benches and urns made of recycled plastic waste – outside the benches are like wooden, but they are not only much stronger, more durable and unpretentious in operation, but also cheaper.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ecological outdoor furniture is made of the composite material by the local startup EkoSreda44, which uses plastic bags and sand as raw materials: the bags are pre-crushed, then heated to a temperature of 270 degrees and mixed with sand, and then placed under a press. Raw materials are “supplied” by the city residents with the participation of the project partner, the Geography of Good Charitable Foundation. In the yards of 18 houses, special containers for separate garbage collection were installed, and now all the collected plastic waste is sent to the manufacture of outdoor furniture.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the production of one bench requires about 10 thousand plastic bags and about 80 kg of sand, the weight of the finished product up to 120 kg.<\/span><\/p>\n

5. <\/span>The Pantone Color Institute together with the Swedish brand Intimina presented a new shade of red, called Menstruation. On the Pantone card, it is depicted with the outline of the uterus and ovary with the menstrual cup inside.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is another step towards making people feel normal about talking about this natural process. “The fact that a billion people have menstruation has historically been treated as something that should not be talked about publicly,” said Danelia Jagare, global brand manager at Intimina. “We decided to break this stereotype at least in this way.”<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t
