1. During the recent Kyiv International Economic Forum, it was reported that the Cabinet of Ministers has already canceled about 600 permits that are necessary for conducting business. “After the war, we will leave much of this as it is. We will continue to simplify,” added Prime Minister D. Shmyhal.<\/p>\n
2. On November 19, the Day of Women’s Entrepreneurship, experts reported that the war somewhat slowed down the trend of active development of women’s entrepreneurship in Ukraine in recent years. However, Ukrainian businesswomen have no intention of surrendering positions. Almost 48% of the 296,288 companies created this year were started by women, according to research by Opendatabot.<\/p>\n
3. Changes made to the Customs Code reduced the amount of the fine for evasion of customs payments or their reduction. If earlier the fine was 300 percent of the unpaid amount of customs payments, now it is from 50 to 150 percent.<\/p>\n

8. In Kremenets, Ternopil Oblast, the American company “Home Essentials” plans to open a furniture factory. It is expected that it will be operational by the end of the year. The products, namely mattresses, will be sold both within Ukraine and abroad. It is also planned to provide mattresses to internally displaced persons. Therefore, the local company “Trendfairs” is launching a new exhibition format – “Swiss interior expo” for the demonstration of main kitchens.
