Post – announcement of the Design meet-up: Dubai & Ukraine
The week at UAFM began actively. On Monday, July 26, 2021, UAFM held a meeting that brought together furniture manufacturers and designers for a friendly brunch.
After the exhibition Furniture of Ukraine Business Expo 2021, interest in the Ukrainian product is growing and we receive international guests to demonstrate the talent and uniqueness of our manufacturers and designers.
A guest from Dubai – Albert S. Fahuri – President of the CIAAD Council, was visited as, architect and designer.
Volodymyr Patis, President of UAFM, greeted all those present and, without delay, gave the floor to the international speaker of the event, Albert S. Fahuri.
Albert S. Fahuri, President of the CIAAD Council, Council for International Accreditation of Architecture and Design; an architect and designer who has participated in many keys and iconic projects in the United States, Mexico, the UAE, Qatar, Lebanon and Europe.
The speaker spoke about working on his projects in the segments: HoReCa, commercial and residential real estate, urban and landscape design. Albert focused on the possibilities of cooperation with Ukrainian architects, designers and furniture manufacturers and invited them to join the dialogue, which the guests of the meeting gladly took advantage of by asking several questions. Simultaneous translation and headset services were provided to all interested parties for convenient communication with foreign guests.
Then there was a presentation from the general partner of the event, the company BUDZIRKA.
Olena Shumakova, a representative of the company, captivated the audience with a story about complex solutions with HPL-panels in the design of modern cottages, their interiors and exteriors.
Guests from Lviv Vitaliy and Yuriy Kyrylivy are co-founders of Hochu rayu. design bureau spoke on the topic: “Interaction through space” and talked about the peculiarities of their own creative projects and spatial solutions.

After a short break for a delicious lunch, the participants congratulated the next speaker from the company Archimatika.
Zhanna Rzhanova, the company’s business developer, opened the topic: Housing as a holiday.
The final speaker of the meeting was Olga Tadai, founder and CEO of the hallway platform and product market for FICUS.
With her speech, Olga brought the audience to the border between art and work, which is interior design.
After the speeches of the speakers, the guests were in no hurry to leave, actively communicating and taking photos in their memory.
We are glad to see that our events of this format are becoming more and more popular among furniture makers and designers and are reaching the international level.
