We hope that you are ready to launch our videos on the creation of R&D departments in furniture companies because in 5 days we will start publishing them and share the experience of mentors and participants of a unique program for the entire development of industries.

It will be recalled that on March 10, 2020, the Ukrainian Furniture Association presented the R&D UNITS Design Needs Program, aimed at supporting design innovations in furniture production and implemented with the support of the USAID Competitive Economy Program to study the demand for such Ukrainian and international consumers. products that will be in demand in domestic and foreign markets.

After selection for the program, 10 study groups were formed, which included Ukrainian furniture makers and designers, and were given the opportunity to create a product needed by the market today.

The mentors of the program were Vitaly Ivakhov, owner of the First family brand and Stefano Adriani, architect and designer, owner of the design studio Adriani & Rossi.

During the training, participants listened to 6 webinars on current market needs, production capabilities, user experience, functionality and practicality of design, etc., as well as received individual consultations with project mentors.

The set of videos consists of 5 issues and aims to motivate and teach to create R&D departments in furniture companies of Ukraine.

The final stage of the program will be the presentation of participants at the joint stand of R&D Units during the international furniture B2B exhibition Furniture of Ukraine Business Expo, which will take place on June 15-17, 2021.

At 12:00 on June 16, 2021, at R&D FORUM, which will also take place at FUBE, in the format of a panel discussion, mentors and invited speakers of the Program will talk about creating a Ukrainian furniture product with an optimized price and modern design.
