On March 14-17, 2021, members of the Board of the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers visited the Furniture of Ukraine Business Expo in Dubai (UAE). Representatives of UAFM aimed to draw the attention of local businesses to the Ukrainian furniture market and attract entrepreneurs as buyers for the event.

The Head of the Consulate of Ukraine in Dubai Oleksandr Khomyak met with the participants of the mission – the head of the FUBE Exhibition and Cluster Platform Oksana Donska and the head of the UAFM Project Platform Alexander Yushchenko.

During the meeting, they presented the Ukrainian furniture industry, shared the achievements of Ukrainian furniture makers, told about the great potential of the industry. They also discussed the peculiarities of the region and possible ways to promote the Furniture of Ukraine in it.

Mr Consul supported UAFM in the correct strategy of promoting Ukrainian furniture through the organization of a local exhibition and holding a promotional mission in the regions, offered assistance in organizing meetings and visa support for FUBE guests.

In total, within the framework of the promotional commission, 16 intensive meetings of UAFM representatives with UAE businessmen took place. We managed to attract 12 participants to the FUBE exhibition, which will take place on April 7-9, 2021. In addition, we managed to establish many new business contacts and agree on new joint projects.
