Webinar: EU Regulation on Deforestation During Product Exports (EUDR)

We invite you to a webinar: EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) for export of products

Organizers: Association of Woodworking Enterprises of Ukraine (ADPU) and Ukrainian Furniture Manufacturers Association (UAM) Date and time: April 30, 11:00

Starting December 30, 2024, the provisions of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) will begin to apply.

Webinar Topic: “What is the EUDR regulation? And what awaits wood exporters at the end of 2024?”

EUDR prohibits placing or exporting products on or from the EU market that do not meet its legality and sustainability requirements. Companies must conduct due diligence to ensure that the products they supply are legal and not linked to lands that have been deforested or degraded after December 31, 2020. The main objective of EUDR is to reduce the EU’s impact on global deforestation by promoting the consumption of products made without causing deforestation.

Webinar Objective: To familiarize participants with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), its requirements, and the impact on exporting wood products or products containing wood.
