  • Increase vacation or shorten the work week?
  • Ukrainian customs should be proud …
  • That bed, that chair – furniture is medical
  • Manufacturers of children’s furniture need to check with the demographics.

Everything that happened last week in Ukraine and the world and is relevant for the furniture maker, read our digest:

1. Starting from August 1, the National Joint Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine reduces the minimum prices for natural gas for industrial consumers by 7.5% compared with July, to UAH 5,568 from UAH 6,020.4 per thousand cubic meters, the company said. They also noted that the price offers of Naftogaz are differentiated depending on the volume of purchases and payment terms. If the buyer has no debt to Naftogaz or buy at least 50,000 cubic meters of gas per month, then the minimum price is set for him. In all other cases, a high price is applied. All prices include VAT.

2. Labor market specialists support the increase in the length of leave provided for by the new Labor Code, initiated by the Cabinet. In their opinion, the worker, well rested, works more efficiently. HR expert Tatyana Pashkina says that now many specialists work not 8:00 a day, but 10. Not because they don’t cope, but because their salary depends on the result.
“This increases earnings, but also leads to professional burnout. And often the employee comes with a week’s vacation, not having rested, continues to work inefficiently. Therefore, even a small additional vacation is needed, says Pashkina. – Studies have shown that last year, in the EU, the losses from the work of the staff, not rested properly, amounted to 17 billion euros. This is more than if they had received sick pay. ”
The fact that the problem of profi goosening is becoming more and more serious was confirmed by the human resources specialist at the large holding, Victoria Alexandrenko. But the expert proposes to solve it not by increasing vacations, but by reducing the work week.

3. On the liquidation of the State Fiscal Service, said its new head Maxim Nefedov. “If everything goes according to plan, then in about three months all people with DFS will be transferred. Perhaps the most odious figures, in which the largest number of claims from society, business and law enforcement, will be left behind. I did it in my previous position and, I hope, with the entry into force of the new Bankruptcy Code, this will happen faster, more efficiently and at lower cost.
In the end, customs should become a structure that both taxpayers and customs officials will be proud of, most of whom, I am convinced, want to work in an efficient and successful body, and not all the time in a hostile atmosphere. ”

4. The “Amira” bed is a variant of furniture for sleeping of a new generation from the company “UKRIZRAMEBEL”. The bed with a mechanical drive is easily adjustable at the head, the orthopedic mattress provides comfort and convenience, the correct anatomical support of the spine. There are 11 variants of positions in the heads. Beds of this type are suitable for the treatment and prevention of diseases of the joints and spinal column.
But the “dancing” dynamic chair was created under the supervision of not only orthopedists, but also neurologists. It has an important feature – the only central point of support. The design provides the mobility of the skeleton in three planes, which prevents stagnation of blood, numbness, stoop. Such dynamics and regular warm-up is useful for the abdominal and spinal muscles. The “dancing” chair prevents the development of hypodynamia, which is relevant for people who work at the computer, patients with osteochondrosis, scoliosis, intervertebral hernia.

5. Furniture market experts say: in order to profitably pay for investments in the production of children’s furniture, the best solution would be the production and sale of furniture for children born in the period from 2014 to 2015. This is primarily due to the small number of the generation of children of the 90s, who now become parents. In the next ten years, the forecasts are disappointing – the birth rate will constantly decline in the post-Soviet countries, and with it the demand for children’s furniture.
Today, not only teenagers, but parents also value smart furniture, which are transformed and can “grow up” with the child. This is most important for kids, so furniture for teens is not much different from furniture products for adults. But a cot, which over the years can expand and turn into a full bed for a preschooler, will undoubtedly be popular with parents.
