Last week, the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers and the Kosovo Woodworkers Association (AWPK) signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the Furniture of Ukraine Business Expo.

Both sides agreed to work together to build partnerships and mutually beneficial relations, to organize B2B meetings to establish new ties and to ensure the exchange of experiences and partnerships.

The Association of Wood Processors of Kosovo (AWPK) was established in 2004. The AWPK is a nonprofit organization for companies in the wood processing sector. The role of the AWPK is to support these companies and advocate on their behalf at legislative and regulatory levels.

The AWPK promotes the interests of the wood processing companies of Kosovo. The AWPK supports these companies to expand networking with local and international businesses, improve products and quality, upgrade technologies, and increase productivity, with the ultimate focus of increasing exports.
