1. The Verkhovna Rada did pass in the second reading the draft law No. 8401, which provides for several changes in the field of taxation, which will enter into force on August 1, 2023. In particular, the possibility to pay a single tax at a preferential rate of 2%, which has been in effect since March 2022, is cancelled.

2. According to the Association of Retailers of Ukraine, in July the rate of the interchange commission charged by international payment systems “Visa” and “Mastercard” should increase from 0.7% to 0.9%. Ukrainian companies warn: if the commission becomes higher, it may lead to an increase in retail prices for buyers and clients.

3. From August 1, the electronic system of goods and transport invoices is introduced. The main element of the project is the Central database managed by the Ministry of Infrastructure, which is designed to store all electronic goods and transport invoices. Implementation of E-TTN has the potential to reduce transport costs and improve logistics processes.

4. According to the government’s decision, the attestation of workplaces, the term of which has come during martial law, is postponed. It will be held within six months after the end of martial law by the employer’s decision, which is agreed with the trade union.
