London Build Expo 2023

10 Ukrainian furniture companies, for the support of the German government, will be presented as part of the Furniture of Ukraine Business Expo national stand at the London Build Expo 2023, which will be held on November 15-16 at the Olympia Exhibition Center in London. The exhibition will feature manufacturers of bespoke furniture of various categories, doors, floring and wooden wall panels.

The selection criteria were:

✔️Small and medium-sized enterprises specializing in the manufacture of furniture and other individual products to order.

✔️ They have successful experience in furnishing custom-made projects in Ukraine, including work with hotels, restaurants, public spaces and apartments.

✔️ They have export experience or have the opportunity to export their products outside of Ukraine.

✔️They have production facilities in Ukraine, which allow to carry out projects and production on site.

✔️Are active members of the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers (UAFM) or show readiness to join the association after joining the alliance.

✔️ They have the ability to cooperate with other members of the alliance, which will be evaluated by the evaluation commission.

✔️  They have documented successful experience in the implementation of projects within the framework of the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers (UAFM).

National stand participants comprise export-experienced companies specializing in supplying furniture, doors, windows, and various other products to hotels, offices, and residential properties across the EU, UK, USA, UAE, and other countries.

Here are some facts about the exhibition:

  • Over 30,000 registered visitors from contractors, architects, building engineers, developers, local councils, developers/associations, and builders
  • 500+ inspiring speakers on 8 conference stages, including the future of construction, BIM & Digital, fire safety, sustainability, diversity and inclusion, etc.
  • 200+ hours of training and professional development

Application for participation

The activities were carried out within the framework of the Project project “TIPSTER: Trade, Intellectual Property Support and Technical Regulation”, which was implemented by the Non-Governmental Union “Foundation for Support of Reforms in Ukraine” with the financial support of the German government within the framework of the international cooperation project ReACT4UA (“Utilization and Implementation of the Association agreement between the EU and Ukraine in the field of trade”), the executor of which is the German federal company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
