  1. On November 15-16, 2023, the London Build Expo took place in London, supported by the German government. The Ukrainian Furniture Association presented over 30 samples of doors, flooring, wall panels, lighting, modular houses, and custom furniture at their stand in London.
  2. The Ministry of Economy is working on a mechanism for the recovery of destroyed enterprises through material and technical assistance. Private enterprises are expected to submit an officially confirmed list of damaged equipment to the Office for Reconstruction and Recovery. Assistance will be provided through designated recipients of humanitarian aid.
  3. The humanitarian corridor in the Black Sea is open for both import and export. Over 100 ships have already passed through it, as reported by the spokesperson of the Naval Forces, Dmytro Pletenchuk, during a telethon.
  4. Ukraine and the United Kingdom, in collaboration with a pool of British insurance companies, have established a mechanism to make the Black Sea corridor more accessible for exporters. It will allow a discount on war risk insurance for exporters of all products from Ukraine.
  5. The Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Office for the Development of Entrepreneurship and Export, and the national project “Diia.Biznes” are expanding the pilot program to support small and medium-sized businesses entering the Polish market. Thirty companies will be selected. Companies interested in participating in the project should fill out the registration form by November 30.
  6. A bill has been registered in the Verkhovna Rada guaranteeing the right to employment for war veterans, including persons with disabilities. Employers are proposed to set a job quota for veterans at 2% of the staff and increase the quota for persons with disabilities (including war-related disabilities) from 4% to 5%.
  7. Polish carriers, continuing to block the movement of cargo transport at three border crossings on the Polish-Ukrainian border, may expand the strike to another point – “Medyka–Shehyni.” Meanwhile, Slovak carriers threaten to block Ukrainian carriers from crossing the border on their side.
  8. The “LTL Group,” a market leader in technological solutions and the sale of coatings for wood processing, has conducted its first recruitment for the Painter School since 2021. The course includes both theoretical and practical training.
  9. Equipment manufacturers could offer their products to the “Epicentr” hypermarket chain, which has introduced a new free service called “turnkey business project.” The company offers the development of projects for equipping stores, warehouses, public catering establishments, as well as dry cleaners and laundries.
  10. A neural network has created a furniture collection for IKEA, causing concern among designers expecting tough competition from artificial intelligence. However, furniture companies without the means or desire to invest in designer services welcome such prospects.
  11. The furniture business is exploring the use of co-branding as a tool to enhance influence on the target audience and develop the brand. In other words, it is the collaboration of brands, the cooperation of two companies to advertise products or the combination of resources and marketing potential of multiple brands to promote a common product they produce.
