National stand FURNITURE OF UKRAINE on London Build Expo

London, November 15-16, 2023 – The National Ukrainian Pavilion of furniture manufacturers, supported by the German government, made a significant impact at the prestigious London Build Expo, a leading exhibition in construction and design in the United Kingdom.

Under the banner “Stand with Ukraine,” the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers brought together 14 brands that showcased their cutting-edge products. The participating brands and their specialties include:

The joint booth showcased over 30 samples of doors, wall panels, flooring, bespoke furniture, modular houses, and lighting.

Over the two-day exhibition, representatives conducted over 50 successful meetings, accumulating over 500 contacts. Oksana Donska, a member of the board of UAFM and CEO of Furniture of Ukraine Business Expo, reported that visitors were captivated by technological innovation, cost-effectiveness, unique design, the resilience of Ukrainians, and the commitment to expanding exports despite ongoing challenges.

The exhibition featured over 500 stands and attracted a diverse audience of 30,000+ builders, architects, interior designers, and real estate professionals.

 

Looking ahead, Ukrainian manufacturers are committed to increasing exports, and upcoming trade shows include:

  • 30/01-02/02/2024: Budma – International construction and architectural exhibition for the Eastern European market. Poznan, Poland.
  • 20-23/02/2024: Meble Polska – International B2B exhibition of furniture and interior solutions. Poznan, Poland.
  • 4-12/05/2024: Grand Design Living – An exhibition for construction and renovation enthusiasts showcasing the latest innovations and ecological solutions. London, Britain.

The organization of the national stand in London was made possible through support by the German government and active assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to Nazovni Exporters, the Embassy of Ukraine in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Rivne Regional Military Administration, and Viyar company.

The activities are held as part of the project “TIPSTER: Trade, Intellectual Property Support and Technical Regulation”, which is implemented by the Non-Governmental Union “Foundation for Support of Reforms in Ukraine” with the financial support of the German government within the framework of the international cooperation project REACT4UA (“Utilization and Implementation of the Association agreement between the EU and Ukraine in the field of trade”), the executor of which is the German federal company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
