Colleagues, we invite you to join our online webinar, which will take place on 22 September at  13 pm.

The new EUDR requirements directly affect Ukrainian companies exporting timber, furniture, and wood products to the EU. It is especially important now to understand what data and documents will be required, how to confirm the origin of timber, and what companies should prepare by the end of the year.

During the webinar, we will discuss:

— who is subject to the EUDR requirements and what they mean for Ukrainian exporters;
— what documents, timber origin data, and geolocation data for harvesting plots need to be prepared;
— how to obtain the required information from forest users and timber suppliers;
— the EUDR implementation timeline and what businesses should do now;
— what Draft Law No. 15352 provides regarding geolocation data and timber traceability.

We will also discuss the current state of preparations in Ukraine. State Enterprise “Forests of Ukraine” is already providing coordinates of timber harvesting plots, while access to such data from other forest users still requires further regulation.

The webinar will be conducted by Nataliia Bartnytska — market expert and consultant to the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers, specialist in technical regulation and international distribution, and a participant in UAFM working groups.
