On March 2, at the KIFF 2019 Киевский международный мебельный форум Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers will hold a WORKSHOP with designers and manufacturers: “How to make ROYALTY. Ethics of cooperation between the designer and the manufacturer.”

The topic of ethical cooperation between manufacturers and designers has been around for more than a year, but lately, these two sides are increasingly sitting at the negotiating table in order to find a unified solution for a reliable partnership.
The Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers already has a certain expertise and an answer to the eternal question – how can a designer earn a royalty, and why all manufacturers without exceptions need a design.

Moderator of the workshop: Vitaliy Ivakhov, owners of brands First Family Collection and Салон “100% Интерьер”, Киев.
Vitaly – chairman of the UAFM Design Platform, held strategic sessions within the association, and also moderated Design Talks AGT Plus for designer and manufacturer cooperation.
After a series of meetings, where we searched for pains and goals of both parties using methods of discussion, brainstorming, design thinking, the main factors contributing to increased trust and cooperation between designers and furniture makers were found.
Ways to establish a stable partnership and increase trust in each other, contract templates, successful cases between manufacturers and designers, discussion between participants, questions and answers – all this awaits you in the lecture hall of OZ Space, Design hall, Pavilion 2A.
