On February 11-12, 2020, representatives of the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers (Українська Асоціація Меблевиків) visited the 10th International Conference and Exhibition of Paintwork Materials.
Dmitry Tymoshenko LTL Group and Оксана Донская (Oksana Donskaya) (co-founder of MebelOk excellent furniture store (МебельОк магазин отличной мебели), head of the UAFM training platform) visited the town of Irpen, where the Lakokraska.UA 2020 Event group Musthavevents conference was held at the Grand Admiral Resort & SPA
During the two days of the conference, participants received information about the latest and achievements of the market operators of paints and varnishes, equipment, containers and raw materials.
Representatives of the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers shared the results of the association of furniture business operators and the experience of the school of artists.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

We are confident to inform you about the successful holding of the conference, where the speakers shared their production experience and the processes that accompany it:

The first day of the conference, February 11, was devoted to architectural cover.
Second day February 12th – Industrial coating and standards. Also on this day, the first Powder Coatings Ukraine workshop took place.

The conference participants were:
– Manufacturers and traders of paintwork materials;
– Suppliers of raw materials;
– Media, experts, associations;
– Consumers of coatings;
– Manufacturers of equipment, containers.

REPORTS

• Speakers of the conference revealed in detail such areas as the state of consumers, market trends, standards and regulations, new developments.
• Coating, the use of which was discussed in detail at the conference – architectural, industrial, wood coatings and powder substances.
• The conference also covered new topics related to mortars,
  prefabricated thermal insulation systems, car repair and aerospace coatings.

Dmytro Tymoshenko demonstrated the results of the introduction of LEAN in furniture manufacturing processes, in particular the paint shop.
Oksana Donskaya shared statistics on the state of the Ukrainian furniture business and its development prospects, showed successful examples of combining suppliers of materials, designers, furniture makers and retailers, made a presentation of the new UAFM project – Furniture of Ukraine Business Expo exhibition, which will make a breakthrough in the Ukrainian furniture market.

The conference successfully fulfilled its goals of informing and disseminating industry experience and helped each partner to optimize costs, optimize profits and improve product quality.
