Everything that happened last week in Ukraine and the world and that is relevant for the furniture maker, read in our digest:

1. Refusal of the employee from vaccination cannot be considered as a violation of labour discipline, noted in the Ministry of Economy. That is, employers have no legal basis to force employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and to bring them to disciplinary responsibility for refusing to do so. Similarly, the employer cannot dismiss the employee.

The Ministry of Economy also cites theses from the resolution of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe that vaccination is not mandatory and that no one can be subjected to political, social or other pressure to be vaccinated.

2. The group of people’s deputies initiates changes in total fiscalization for businessmen, and also cancellation of application of RRO at the sale of separate goods.

In particular, it is envisaged to restore the right of sole proprietors, regardless of the chosen type of activity, not to use RRO when selling goods (services), the unit cost of which does not exceed one minimum wage (in 2021 – 6000 hryvnias), and in case of exceeding this amount – subject to payments for such goods (services) using payment devices (terminals) or providing the person receiving the goods (service) with a settlement document reflecting the transaction in the typical form of accounting and delivery within three banking days of cash proceeds from the sale of such goods (services provided) to banks.

3. The State Tax Service clarified the right to access these enterprises, institutions, organizations in the private part of the Electronic Cabinet. This permission is granted to the following categories of users:

– officials who, according to the USR, are heads of enterprises, institutions, organizations;

– founders and officials who, according to the USR, have the right to sign on behalf of enterprises, institutions, organizations;

– chief accountants (accountants), who according to the State Tax Service have the right to sign on behalf of enterprises, institutions, organizations;

– officials of enterprises, institutions, organizations, which have the right to sign certain categories of documents (tax invoices, etc.).

The head of the taxpayer determines changes the list of authorized persons of the taxpayer, who are given the right to sign, submit, receive documents and information through the Electronic Cabinet on behalf of the taxpayer, and determines their powers.

4. Export duties on timber and wood products were introduced in Belarus this month.

The following rates of export customs duties are set: for the export of untreated timber – 100 euros per 1 cubic meter, wood chips – 6.5% of the customs value, but not less than two euros per cubic meter, lumber with sawn wide surfaces and one or two unpolished edges thick more than 50 mm – 100 euros per cubic meter, particleboard and fiberboard – 5% of the customs value.

Ukraine is among the countries to which exports are subject to such duties by the end of the year.

5. This is about the new collections of porcelain of the Estima brand, which are marked as Gabbro and Classic Wood.

Gabbro series porcelain is available with a natural unpolished surface in the format of 60×120 cm and 60×60 cm. This finishing material with a centimetre thickness and with imitation of natural stone is presented in four colours: white, grey, anthracite, brown.
