Read everything that happened last week in Ukraine and around the world and that is relevant and interesting for the furniture maker in our digest:

1.  The Verkhovna Rada plans to approve a law on the abolition of fines for sole proprietors who have not installed cash registers (RRO). All FOPs who set up RROs by April 1 will have their fines reduced by 10 times by the end of the year.

The current law stipulates that entrepreneurs had to install cash registers before January 1, 2021. However, according to the new bill, the government actually gives them the opportunity to extend this period until April 1 this year.

This bill also extends for a month the period during which no fines will be applied to private individuals. That is, for those who installed cash registers in January, the penalty for a month’s delay will be cancelled.

At the same time, for those individual entrepreneurs who for some reason do not have time to register the cash register by the end of January, there will be two more months during which they can register their RRO. They will be able to do so until April 1, 2022, that is, until the end of March.

2. Deputies have a new initiative: mandatory declaration of income of all family members. Instead, they promise “incentives” in the form of the opportunity to run a family business without registering an individual entrepreneur and pay a single tax from the family, not from each member of the household.

The main idea of ​​the project is to make households (families) full-fledged business entities and involve them in economic activity. To this end, for the first time at the legislative level, the concept of “household” will be introduced. It can be one person or a group of people who live together, run a joint household, fully or partially combine their income and expenses.

3. The Federation of Employers of Ukraine appealed to the Ukrainian authorities not to force the signing of a free trade agreement with Turkey, which could harm Ukraine’s economy, but to negotiate a comprehensive package of economic agreements with Ankara, which should include an investment component.

Representatives of those industries that export to Turkey or are interested in such exports have shown that the level of tariff protection in Turkey is very high and makes the sale of products for export to this country unprofitable. Almost all industry representatives believe that Turkish imports, on the other hand, tend to grow, which is a threat to the national producer.

5. Specialists in colour at the International Color Institute “Pantone” have traditionally identified a new colour finalist. The main colour of 2022 was VeryPery, which is on the verge of blue, red and purple shades.

This colour is radically different from its predecessors. The staff of the institute did not choose it in the usual way from the many existing ones, but generated it with the help of digital technologies, analyzing the main colour and ideological current trends.

Cybercolor PANTONE 17-3938 VeryPery is a synthesis of several shades in different proportions. The leitmotif was a rich classic blue, which skillfully shaded purple and pink, creating a playful surreal effect of the future from fantasy novels.

Colourists believe that it reflects an era of change. However, experts emphasize that he does not have an anti-utopian mood for the near future. On the contrary, color symbolizes liveliness, ingenuity and tireless positivity.
