This year’s Imm Cologne exhibition was an unforgettable event, gathering more than 700 participants from different countries on an area of 120,000 square meters. The Ukrainian national stand of Furniture of Ukraine became an important part of the exhibition. Visitors to the event had a great opportunity to see the powerful potential of Ukrainian furniture design at the international level.

 

Samples of furniture for the home and living room, doors and windows were demonstrated by 20 Ukrainian furniture manufacturers: Comfort-Mebli, Doros, Dubik-M, Forto, Embawood, Constanta and Mirt furniture factories, Goodwood, Kyiv standard, Monredo, Kitchen Mriya, Pavlyk, Tentoni and woodworking company Peak, Woodsan, Azzare, Yarex, Artbuz and Bonso.

The growth of the Ukrainian furniture design industry in recent years is an undeniable fact, and it is gaining more and more recognition. The participation of Furniture of Ukraine in prestigious exhibitions such as Imm Cologne is an important step in the promotion of Ukrainian furniture brands and products on the world market.

It is worth noting that only on the last day of the imm Spring Edition exhibition, it was visited by about 30,000 guests from 116 countries of the world, and only 48% of them were from Germany.

However, this is not all, because the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers continues to actively present its products on the international market. Already before the end of the year, we plan to visit several exhibitions: MOW (Germany) from September 17 to 21 and London Design Fair (Great Britain) from September 21 to 24. The organization of the work of the national stand in Cologne became possible thanks to the active assistance and support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Nazovni Exporters, SE “Office for the Development of Entrepreneurship and Export in Ukraine”, the Embassy of Ukraine in Germany, the Rivne, Kyiv and Lviv Regional Military Administrations. Partners of the negotiation zone are Kleiberit Ukraine and Hafele. The stand was organized with the support of USAID Economic Development, Governance, and Enterprise Growth (EDGE).
