The company GRIFFON SAFES whose production base is located in Nizhyn is one of the few members of the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers (UAFМ) whose main furniture material is metal. However, they stand out because they produce furniture that is characterized by high reliability, particularly in the case of metal cabinets for storing weapons. They also produce reliable modern safes, having dozens of models in their assortment.

It is therefore not surprising that the international exhibition in which the company participated last month, and which we asked the owner of the company Ruslan Krasuyk to tell us about, is not well known to most members of the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers. Its name is “IWA OutdoorClassics” and it takes place annually in Nuremberg, Germany. The exhibition showcases items for hunting, and outdoor recreation, as well as safety and reliable storage of weapons and various valuables.

– Our company presented several models of gun cabinets and safes of different capacities and constructions. The exhibits included both pre-war models and some novelties.

We were eagerly anticipating this exhibition because we had not demonstrated our products at international exhibitions for three years. At first, COVID prevented us, and last year there was a war. We were already one hundred percent ready to participate in this March exhibition last year, even having purchased tickets, but… This year, our expectations were fully justified: the company’s exhibition stand was actively visited (guests came from all over the world), which not only helped us to acquire new potential customers but also expanded our already broad export geography.

Participating in this exhibition was important for us not only to showcase new products but also to prove that despite the war in the country, the company is still viable – and even developing; that it has not lost or weakened its role as a reliable partner, an active exporter, and that our products remain just as competitive.

Usually, at exhibitions, we showcase our products live, so to speak, so that every interested visitor can examine in detail the item that caught their attention. However, we also actively use video materials to demonstrate the durability tests of our cabinets and safes. There is a particular need to ensure the complete reliability of glass-fronted gun cabinets, as they often raise doubts about their security, unlike solid metal cabinets.
