“Beregynia” continues to export furniture to Europe

Not surprisingly, coronavirus and the quarantine activities associated with it substantially modify export plans, and then the export histories of companies. We will tell you more about this on the example of the Zaporizhzhia company “Bereginya“.

Just when we spoke with its director Oleg Palamar, the last wagon with export furniture went abroad. Hopefully, not the last one in general, but the latter temporarily, before the quarantine measures are introduced at the production.

We have provided drivers who leave the border of Ukraine with all necessary means of protection, so we hope that the last pre-quarantine export deliveries of goods will be completed on time and without negative consequences for both people and goods sold,” – Oleg says.

There are currently two export routes to “Bereginya”: to Germany and the Baltic states. Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia are more active in purchasing Zaporizhzhia furniture – though small lots (because clients have small trading companies), quite regularly they were supplied with furniture of different categories – upholstered, soffit, tables, and chairs, etc. One German customer sells furniture through an online store, and also distributes furniture catalogs that include “Beregini’s” furniture, and therefore stores what he advertises.

Some clients, – Oleg says, – have informed that they cannot accept our products due to quarantine measures, but others still order, but we have a problem with their fulfillment. Production has been partially suspended since Monday and quarantine restrictions are more categorical since yesterday (largely due to transport restrictions: workers are unable to get to work).

We stop production completely until the sixth of April, – Oleg shares his plans. – And there we will see how the situation will turn out. If there are customers willing to accept our products, we will partially start production processes. Several people will work in the shop. By Shuttle: Today, something has been done, tomorrow another group will come out to continue yesterday. Consider how to deliver people to the factory. We will focus on those who have their own transport, which could bring another and two colleagues. We develop routes of such quarantine transfer. Of course, we will provide car owners with fuel.

Therefore, we do not lower our hands. Moreover, as a solid client started to emerge, so to speak, a well-known Scandinavian Jysk trading network in Ukraine became interested in our furniture. If we can negotiate a price (if its lowering is acceptable to us), then perhaps the export horizons of “Bereginya” will expand”.

Let’s create the best furniture environment in Ukraine!
