1. 7 members of UAFM were included in Next250 – the list of 250 promising small and medium-sized companies from Forbes Ukraine. The business publication believes that the heroes of Next250 will determine what the Ukrainian business landscape will be like in the future. 2. Analysts of the Bureau of Economic Security will have access to the information contained in the Industry Information and Telecommunication System of Electronic Wood Accounting, which is intended for the organization of logistics, accounting and control of wood harvesting and processing.

3. The Cabinet of Ministers again expanded the list of services for the import of which Ukrainian businesses can buy currency, adding to it, in particular, participation in international exhibitions to present Ukrainian products and study advanced world production technologies. Previously, the government allowed payment for participation only in specific international exhibitions, directly specifying them in the decree.

4. Ukraine joins the global “Cisco Country Digital Acceleration” program, which operates in 48 countries. The goal of the program is to help create new jobs, increase the level of GDP and use innovations in the public and private sectors.

5. In a bold kitchen project by Lviv designers from Coda UA, implemented by Varenycia Group, veneered facades are combined with black aluminium frames, black handles and a thin white countertop against a background of dark large-format tiles to emphasize the warm shades of oak.

6. Every business owner knows that a website is an integral part of a company’s marketing strategy, but not everyone wants it to be more than just a pretty picture. An audit of the website is called for this. This is the process of evaluating the content and effectiveness of an Internet resource, which will help increase its ranking in search results.

7. European furniture manufacturers are rethinking their goals and methods of adapting to changing market conditions in the context of limited purchases, inflation and economic pressure. This will be facilitated by the “M.O.W” exhibition, which will be held from September 17 to 21 in Bad Salzuflen, Germany. Exhibitors will present several innovations in youth furniture and self-assembly furniture.

8. Currently, JYSK, one of the most powerful European furniture retailers, is making one of the largest investments in the company’s history. Concept 3.0 is nothing more than the renewal of stores, the purpose of which is to ensure a unified design of their interior.

9. Developing the success of its Generations collection, the American company “Diamond Mattress” has added two new models of mattresses – Monaco and Versailles. At the summer exhibition in Las Vegas, will offer retailers their price parameters – respectively $ 1,599 and $ 1,399.

10. The exhibition “Design or not design?” was opened in the Amsterdam Museum of Architecture, Design and Digital Culture, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the most famous Dutch design company “Droog”. It is an ode to humour, wit and free thinking that will not leave anyone interested in the world of design indifferent.

11. Japanese designer Yuma Kano invented a wooden material with a terrazzo texture. ForestBank is made based on unusable wood and other natural elements found in the forest – leaves, bark, soil and seeds. The collected raw materials are bonded with water-based acrylic resin. Depending on the composition and number of “ingredients”, a unique surface pattern is obtained.
