Everything that happened last week in Ukraine and the world and that is relevant to the furniture maker, read in our digest:

1. A draft law has been registered in the Verkhovna Rada proposing to oblige legal entities and natural persons-entrepreneurs to have an official e-mail address for correspondence with courts and state bodies. It is proposed that the company’s official e-mail addresses be entered in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Associations. This e-mail will be used in courts in commercial, civil and administrative proceedings to send participants in court proceedings copies of decisions, rulings, court summonses and other documents in electronic form.

The draft law stipulates that legal entities and sole proprietors are obliged to submit information on their official e-mail address to the USREOU within six months from the date of entry into force of the law.

2. The National Bank of Ukraine has regulated a number of issues related to the opening of bank accounts: bank customers will be able to open accounts using the “Diia” application.

The regulator gave citizens the right to present an e-passport, e-passport for travel abroad, e-birth certificate and data on the registration number of the taxpayer’s account card using the mobile application “Diia” when opening accounts.

3. Imagine that a bank is a time machine with which you can take money in the future or transfer it to the future for, say, the implementation of a business idea. And if everything is clear with loans, then the transfer of money to the future – a banking innovation. UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group decided to use it, using the unique for the Ukrainian market Dreams service, which is already available in the UKRSIB online application. This banking innovation was developed and first launched in Sweden.

Dreams allows you to determine the need for money, specify the required amount and time after which you want to have it. But the most important thing is the unique tools “safe hacks”. They not only help to raise your money in installments, but also give useful advice on the use of rather unexpected sources of savings, even with health benefits.

4. Lumber prices are breaking records in all regional markets – in China, Europe and the United States. In particular, against the background of the boom in the construction of wooden houses in the United States and the restriction of timber supplies from Canada, lumber prices in the country quadrupled – from 330 to 1420 dollars per thousand board feet (one foot is equal to a board 1 foot long, 12 inches wide and 1 inch). The main reason: the growing demand for lumber in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, which provoked a wave of repair work and housing construction.

5. The Russian Export Center accepts applications for participation in the selection under the new program of state support of organizations and individual entrepreneurs by reimbursing part of the costs associated with participation in any international exhibition and fair events held abroad.

Expenses for rent of the exhibition space (including the equipped one) and for payment of registration fees are subject to compensation. The maximum amount of support provided to Russian participants to reimburse part of the costs associated with participation in one international event is 700 thousand rubles for small and medium-sized companies and two million – for large companies.
