1. The European Business Association has unveiled seven priority steps that the business community expects from Vladimir Zelensky, including, in particular, reforming law enforcement agencies to reduce pressure on businesses, restarting the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, ensuring macroeconomic stability and independence National Bank, public procurement reform, continued automatic VAT refund and deregulation, reform MA Fiscal Service. In addition, Ukrainian enterprises expect the authorities to increase state support, as well as reduce tax pressure and simplify tax payments in order to improve the business environment in the country.

2. The founder of the Alibaba Group, Jack Ma, is convinced:
“As a partner, you must find someone who complements your skills. You don’t need someone successful. ”
“A leader must have a strong character and be persistent in order to withstand all that is beyond the power of other employees.”
“The world doesn’t give a damn about what you say. What matters is what you do. ”
“If at the meeting 90% of those present vote for a proposal, I throw it in the basket. The reason is simple: if all these people so clearly see this opportunity, then most likely, many other companies are engaged in this. And we do not belong leadership in this. ”
“Number one is customers. Number two is employees. And only then, at number three, are the shareholders. ”
“The most unreliable in this world is the relationship between people.”
“If you don’t know everything about your competitors, underestimate them or you don’t see a threat in them, you will definitely lose.”

3. Ukrainian business complains about the lack of auto-authorization for the transport of goods in the direction of Poland. The European Business Association appealed to the President of Ukraine with a request to raise the issue of increasing quotas by automatically allowing them during a meeting with the President of Poland and to contribute to solving this problem in the long term.
The problem of the lack of auto-authorization is NOT the current one, however, if earlier the number of issued permits was enough for 9-10 months, now some species have been exhausted in almost six months. -For problems with permits, there is a threat of delays in the supply of goods to EU countries, as well as possible interruptions in the import of raw materials and finished products from Europe. In addition, the violation of the terms of delivery of goods negatively affects the relations of Ukrainian entrepreneurs with European partners and the business image of Ukraine as a whole.
To maintain and accelerate the pace of international trade, it is necessary to increase the number of permits between the Polish and Ukrainian parties.

4. One of the fastest growing furniture brands in the UK, “Made.com” (40% profit growth for 2018) continues to position itself as an online retailer. However, the specificity of furniture retail involves a visit to the store: the buyer always wants to take a look at the subject of the situation with his own eyes in order to evaluate its size and present it in an apartment or room. Made.com succeeded in satisfying the need for a personal shopping experience while maintaining a distance between the store and customers. AR-technology helped this retailer, he began to develop together with technology startups in a specially created laboratory Made Labs.
It all started with the Sofasizer online tool, developed by Made.com in conjunction with Hullabalook. With it, customers can quickly find the right size and color sofa on the site. The second tool from Made Labs is available in the Find My Style mobile application, with which the user can see in real time through the device’s camera how the furniture will be placed in his apartment, completely customize the goods, choose the material and color of the model and the like. And finally, in collaboration with French startups “Hubstairs”, “Made.com” launched a new online service for full-fledged interior design using AR-technology, there is augmented reality. At 89 pounds, a full design service for individual rooms is offered – a bedroom, a living room or a dining room. The client scans the room through the application on the phone’s camera, “Made.com” offers accommodation options based on the size of the room. Variants of furnishings are formed from one line of models, in one style and uniform design. The user can change the materials and colors of all furniture at his discretion.

5. An exhibition dedicated to the collaboration of young experimenter designers and the Atelier François Pouenat workshop, whose owner Francois Puen continues the traditions of his family, has been specializing in working with metal for a hundred and thirty years at the Joyce Gallery in Paris.
The curators took three whole years to assemble a team of participants’ designers and develop a collection of eight objects, which was called Serie 01.
