- A hybrid of office, coworking and living space?
Everything that happened last week in Ukraine and the world and that is relevant for the furniture designer, read in our digest:
1.Dmytro Kuleba, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, permits the signing in 2020 of the first treaty within the framework of the ACAA, known as “Industrial Duty Free”.
According to him, the meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Council, which will be held in Brussels on January 28, will be indicative for Ukraine in this matter, as it will show whether the EU really wants to move with Ukraine or still wants to use different instruments to slow down the process. . “I say to my colleagues in the EU that they need an industrial visa no less than we do. It is also about balancing our agricultural-dominated trade, and most importantly, it is new business opportunities for EU countries in Ukraine. ”
2. The same Dmytro Kuleba opposes the moratorium on the export of raw timber.
“I personally oppose the moratorium on logs and in general the moratorium on any export operations with the EU. But it has happened that over the years, we have been dominated by either corruption or stupidity in a number of areas of economy and politics. That is why I am in favor of a moratorium on “stupidity”, not “round timber”. He noted that the moratorium had been introduced as a temporary measure until effective policy was developed in this area, but the process was delayed. “In our government, the priority now is to create efficient markets with the same rules of the game where there were no markets at all or where markets existed, but with unequal rules. And the area of felling and woodworking is one such area. ”
3. On January 1, 2020, the official launch of the beta testing of the software registrar of the clearing operations (cash registers) “Prrosto”.
“Prrosto” is a free software developed by the State Tax Service in conjunction with BRDO and Fintellect to simplify settlement procedures for sellers and consumers. From January 9, everyone can participate in testing the new tax service. The app will be available for testing on all smartphones and tablets running Android and iOS. After testing and taking into account the wishes of users, the application will be improved for future use.
4. At the end of last year, about forty sales agents and distributors of Giardina Group products (which is technological equipment for surface treatment of paint and varnish materials, as well as for their subsequent drying) came to the headquarters of the concern in Fiji-Serenza (the Italian province of Como).
The main reason for the meeting was the official opening of the Corporate Innovation Center, which combines an exhibition area, a conference room, training classes and workshops for practical classes. On the area of 2500 square meters the whole product line «Giardina Group» is represented. Thus, the Italian concern demonstrated to the partners the readiness for the most effective interaction, to a high level of sales support. The Innovation Center is available to distributors around the world. Here they will be able to see for themselves what products and what service the group offers to their clients.
5. At the Testing Future forum, initiated by the Officenext information portal – the organizer of the Best Office Awards, the office market professionals were introduced to current design ideas and the most advanced corporate space technology.
This time, not only smart offices and coworkings, but also so-called “hybrid” public spaces, which do not fit into traditional ideas about “places to work”, have become the focus of the Forum participants. The audience was offered a new perspective to look at the office in the near future. What will it be: a hybrid of office, coworking and living space? Or maybe a fancy club or a digital bar? In any case, approaches to the organization of “office” premises will have to change, offering more flexible, multifunctional, service solutions. This is the conclusion of the participants of the forum “Testing Future”.
