Post-release event – Inauguration Birthday party

The 19-year-old UAFM has renewed its board

On UAFM’s 19th birthday, the furniture community she formed gave her a new board. Last Friday, a large-scale celebration took place on this double occasion in the KyivExoPlaza country exhibition pavilion.

In the first part was the business part of the meeting – the Election of the Board and the Audit Commission, in the second – celebrated their results in the context of the celebrations on the occasion of the birthday of UAFM.

Candidates for “government portfolios” were determined in advance, they were acquainted through the communication means of UAFM and those who had to make a choice. And on election day, a quorum majority listened to the candidates’ program speeches and voted.

So, as a result of the election in the new term of the UAFM board will be as follows (in alphabetical order): Mykola Viknyansky, director of Termopal, Oksana Donska, co-founder of MebelOK online store, Vitaliy Ivakhov, designer, director of 100% inter, Volodymyr Patis, co-owner of Eskada-M, Maxim Rogozhin, co-owner of AGT PLUS, Leonid Spivakov, co-owner of RD Wood, Alexander Yushchenko, commercial director of PE Furniture Factory MIRT.

Immediately after the announcement of the results of the voting for the members of the board, the newly elected “vice-presidents” unanimously and re-elected Volodymyr Patis as the president of the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers by open voting, with which we congratulate him.

The composition of the audit commission was also renewed. There were no “portfolio” deprived: whoever wanted to be an auditor, he became one. These are: Valentyna Vasylieva, owner of Atelier Lilu, Tetyana Kravets, director of Kleiberit-Ukraine LLC and Nadiya Rodionova, director of Living Wood Ukraine LLC.

In addition to the election of the board, the participants of the meeting voted for changes and additions to the charter of UAFM, approved the financial statements and results of the Association for 2018 – 2019.

The agenda of the meeting also included the work of the “business dating service” – Speed-dating. The first such innovation was tested by the management at the summer event of the July Welcome Party UAFM. Then the furniture makers had 90 seconds to present themselves to the designers for a possible start of mutually beneficial cooperation. It was planned to introduce furniture makers, buyers, retailers, designers and suppliers. Unfortunately, the speed-dating this time took place only informally due to lack of time. But this is not the last event and UAFM has promised that the favorite format of speed-dating will be and the next event will definitely be a sequel.

In the afternoon, the business part of the meeting continued. In addition to announcing the results of the formation of the Board and the election of the President of the UAFM, there was an acquaintance with the new members of the Association, who joined its ranks at the 42nd Congress of the UAFM, which took place the day before. This time 13 more companies joined UAFM, with which we congratulate them: Private enterprise “Art-Interior”, LLC “KOZHAN”, Studio Manka, LLC “FS POPOFF”, DioLini, LLC “ZOKKO-UKRAINE”, BLEST, Cedar in Levan, PE “RIO-TRANS”, Creative Studio Drevych, LLC “Smart Furniture”, TENTONI, LLC “WOODBRAND”.

On this note, the business part ended, and the part of surprises, buffet and networking began. All guests had a big surprise from the companies ADLER, Eskada-M, RD Wood and Termopal – a performance by the Ukrainian rock band “Druha Rika”. Under the songs of their favorite band, the furniture makers really felt the atmosphere of a big holiday.

And of course, what kind of birthday without a holiday cake ?! He always crowns such UAFM meetings, and this time he was especially beautiful, solemn and delicious …
