Transformer furniture for “smart life”

In order to finally decide what to specialize in your start-up furniture industry, you need to have a sincere desire, produce quality, unique products and offer excellent service. Brothers Serhiy and Oleksiy Pavlenky, the founders of Smart Living, were guided by this when deciding on the production of furniture transformers.

However, it should be noted that the brothers managed to decide on the furniture specialization of their company quickly and unmistakably, largely due to the fact that they are furniture makers by profession. That is, their arrival in the furniture business was quite logical and one hundred percent motivated: as they say, why they studied, it came in handy. 

Gradual – and rightly so – is their approach to developing their company. Both the creation and its specialization were gradual, as well as gradually increasing the range of their products. Began production of transformed furniture from folding beds. And then the same sequence: at first we used purchased – domestic and foreign – mechanisms of furniture transformation, but later came to the conclusion that it is still more appropriate to use the mechanisms of their own design and production, so we abandoned the purchased components.     

– In general, few people in Ukraine are still engaged in “transformers”, so there was no one to learn from, – says Oleksiy Pavlenko. – The fact that there was little competition is good. But, on the other hand, we were limited in the choice of components, especially transformation mechanisms and suppliers of such mechanisms. For some time we used Italian, German, Turkish mechanisms, some of them were produced in Ukraine as well. But in order to achieve maximum quality and comfort of the furniture mechanism, it was decided to develop and manufacture its own transformation system. So we started to professionally engage in this area and promote it throughout the country! … And since 2015, our company has been producing a comprehensive system of modern furniture transformation of its own design “X2” for compact furniture.   

An important difference between transformer furniture and ordinary furniture is their ability to change shapes and sometimes functionality in such a way as to reduce their dimensions. Smart apartments, ie compact “smart” apartments, which are now in great demand in the housing market, have led to the need for the furniture needed for their installation. And Smart Living has clearly captured this demand and is actively creating start-up furniture for “smart living”, increasing their range.   

In general, the company of the Pavlenko brothers has not lost its initial universalization: as it was able to initially produce different categories of furniture, and produces them, although it positions itself in the industry and market as a manufacturer of furniture-transformers, and it is under this specialization mobilizes its management and advertising. Therefore, if the customer wants, for example, complete with a bed-transformer to have in the same style bedside tables, wardrobe, etc., the company “Smart Living” will fulfil such an order without problems. The company practices not only warranty but also post-warranty maintenance of its furniture. The company also provides the service of assembling (assembling) the furniture purchased by the buyer, if he does not want to bother to assemble, say, a bed on his own, using the detailed instructions provided, or simply can not do it himself.
