Meble Polska is an annual international furniture exhibition held in Poznań, Poland. Ukrainian furniture companies traditionally participate in this exhibition. This year, 250 furniture brands from 15 countries took part in the Meble Polska exhibition, including 30 from Ukraine as part of the national stand and individual exhibitions. So, from February 21 to 24, 2023, 24 Ukrainian furniture factories worked as part of the Furniture of Ukraine national stand, namely:  MIRT, MODERN, Metal land, Grade, Comfortmebli, IDEALL, Lion, Svit Mebliv, Sofro, Azzare, Neman, Roman, Cubus, Lado, StarWood, BJORN, BONSSO, DP MP Ukraine LLC, Furniture Factory TTT, Green Sofa, BIS-M, TOKABO, Comforto, RONEL.

The participation of Ukrainian furniture makers in Meble Polska gave them the opportunity to demonstrate their latest developments and products at the international level, as well as to hold more than 500 meetings with potential partners and current customers from Denmark, the Netherlands, France, Great Britain, Germany, Romania, the USA, Canada, the Czech Republic, Finland and other countries of the world. Several contracts were signed right at the stand.

Furniture of Ukraine collections on the international stage

The large-scale national exhibition of 556 square meters was furnished with new collections of bedrooms in solid oak and cherry, and tables and chairs in metal. solid oak, ash, walnut, HPL, chipboard and MDF, upholstered furniture of the budget and premium segments, serial kitchens, furniture for children’s rooms and living rooms, as well as windows, doors and wall panels. Products certified by FSC attracted special attention.
The joint exhibition at the Meble Polska 2023 exhibition was organized by the Furniture of Ukraine Business Expo team from the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Makers.
For 2022, the export of furniture of Ukraine amounted to 806 million dollars. USA with an average annual increase in volumes of 11.5% over the past 6 years. Ukrainian furniture was delivered to 99 countries of the world, of which the largest buyers were Poland (34.9%), Germany (17.4%), Denmark (5.9%), Austria (4.5%) and others. What happened, including thanks to the participation of Ukrainian furniture makers in 2022 under the common banner of Furniture of Ukraine, 67 furniture factories at 5 international exhibitions in Poland, Germany, Italy and the UAE.

Support for the collective exposition of Ukrainian furniture manufacturers

The organization of the work of the national stand in Poznań became possible thanks to the active assistance and support of the Exporters and Investors Council under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the state institution Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office,  the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Poland, the Rivne  Regional Military Administration and the Kyiv Regional Military Administration. Partners and patrons of the national stand are Kronospan UA, Kleiberit Ukraine and Hafele. Legal support of the national exposition from the Honcharuk and Partners Law Office. Logistics partners Riotrans and HN Logistics. The design of the joint exhibition was developed by Dmytro Novikov. The construction of the stand was carried out by the Azzare furniture factory. Making clothes for volunteers and the national flag – craftswoman Maryna Radygina.

The plan for the promotion of Ukrainian furniture for export of the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers foresees a trade mission to London in 2023 and national stands at such international exhibitions as IMM Colonge and MOW.
