Let’s chang the Russian software to safe analogues
44 IT products of aggressive origin are still used in Ukraine. The list of similar programs was compiled by the Opendatabot platform
Opendatabot has published a list of software of Russian origin that is still used in Ukraine. Currently, Ukrainian business actively uses 44 such products, including Bitrix24, Tilda Publishing, 1C, AmoCRM, iiko, Jivosite and others. The platform also named Ukrainian and world analogues that can easily and safely replace Russian ones.
“The use of software of Russian origin in the work of the company carries several risks. In addition to the aggressor company, which is understandable on the surface of cooperation and payment for services, the business also risks losing information or finding itself in a situation where the data directly reaches the aggressor,” the statement reads.
In this regard, Opendatabot together with the Internet marketing agency Netpeak has compiled a list of Ukrainian and global companies that can safely replace software of Russian origin.
The platform divided programs by areas of their use. We present only the most relevant for the furniture business and education.
UPD. Readers report that the BASIS furniture design software should also be included in this list and recommend using the sketchup+abf plugin, fusion 360, CAD+CAM. For many furniture makers working on outsourcing, there are difficulties in the absence of the ability to export to the supplier’s constructor, but this can be solved by exporting to GibLab, and only then to the supplier’s constructor. Manufacturers that do not use outsourcing and produce the entire cycle on their own (or accept only cutting and edging on the side) can easily change the software of the aggressor country, keep their data safe and not finance criminals.
