Trade Mission to Denmark: Design that Speaks Ukrainian
18 Ukrainian brands, three days at Ukraine House in Denmark, over 2,000 visitors, and dozens of new contacts with architectural studios, galleries, and distributors from around the world![]()
The collective exhibition Material Resistance. Ukrainian Design in Action made a powerful statement about Ukrainian design — honest, resilient, and thoughtful. We showcased meaningful approaches: working with local and recycled materials, responsible production, and design rooted in story and context.
We were especially touched by the feedback — people spoke of sincerity, quality, and depth.
This experience marks another step in helping Ukrainian brands feel confident on the international stage.
The exhibition was organized by Ukraine House in Denmark in collaboration with the Ukrainian Materials Library, the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers, and Material Matters (London).
